Overview
A free all-in-one AI ped system
The Electus Bodyguards script adds hireable AI bodyguards to your FiveM server. Players buy and command their own guards from shops, gangs recruit members straight off the street, and police type /backup to have AI reinforcements come flying in. It also works as a balancing tool on servers short on criminals or officers, letting AI even out the playing field.
Three types of bodyguard
Regular, gang and police, each purchasable from its own shop. Every type can be restricted by job, so police reinforcements stay with police. Guards are good at different things, split across three stats: shooting, driving and armor. In theory you can run unlimited bodyguards at once, though for obvious reasons that is not recommended.
Contracts, insurance and leave
- A bodyguard is rented for a selectable amount of time, and the price is decided by that time.
- The guard stays until the time runs out or the player terminates the contract. Terminating deletes the bodyguard completely.
- Claim insurance: spawns a replacement if the last guard died. Can only be done in a shop.
- Put on leave / Reinstate: park a guard when you don't want them active for the moment.
Controlling your guards
Interact with a single bodyguard through your target system or the default G key to tell them to stay still, follow you or go on leave. Command all of them at once with /bodyguard_stay and /bodyguard_follow. Guards follow you into vehicles and defend you from attackers, and the integrated vehicle menu makes it easy to switch places so a bodyguard can drive you around or head to a waypoint.
Weapons and pricing
Add your own weapons to a bodyguard or purchase them together with the guard; the hire cost depends on which bodyguard and which weapon they carry. The config covers ped models, weapon models, all prices, price deductions, speed metrics, maximum slots and currency.
UI
The UI is sleek and easy to use, and you can change its theme in the settings.
Performance and requirements
Idle sits at 0.00ms. With bodyguards out on a heavy task it peaks at 0.06 to 0.08ms. Requires ESX or QB-Core plus ox_lib, and a target system is recommended for maximal performance.
