Overview
Vehicle Auction and Direct Sale System
Players sell their own cars to each other, at a fixed price or through a live auction, and the whole thing plays out in the world instead of a menu. Listed vehicles spawn at predefined sale spots when buyers approach and despawn again once nobody is around, so the lot looks alive without dragging down performance.
Two Ways to Sell
- Direct Sale: set a fixed price for immediate purchase.
- Auction: put the vehicle up for bidding and let buyers compete for it.
A dedicated UI walks the seller through price, sale type, and listing duration, anywhere from 12 hours up to a full week.
Live Auctions
Buyers place bids and track auctions in real time, with updates on the current highest bid and the time remaining until the hammer falls.
Vehicle Info Dialog
Every car on sale opens a detailed dialog showing its name, plate, price, and sale expiration, plus the installed modifications: engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and turbo.
Mods Carry Over
Full vehicle properties support means a tuned car sells as a tuned car. Modifications are preserved through the sale, so buyers see exactly what they are paying for.
Server-Side Validation
- Secure server-side callbacks validate every interaction with a listed vehicle.
- Listing eligibility checks stop exploits and invalid entries before they hit the market.
- You can plug in your own checks to block unwanted listings.
