Overview
Rahe Speakers System
A location-based music system for your server. Carry a speaker on your character, mount one visually on a vehicle, queue tracks, browse music history, and set up permanent or public speakers with configurable logging.
Recent updates added spatial audio, in-game creation of different speaker types, a built-in speaker shop, fewer dependencies, gizmo-based moving of permanent speakers, speaker groups, and audio filters for finer control of your sound environment.
Every Rahe script spends weeks being tested by hundreds of players on our own roleplay server before it reaches Tebex. The speaker system has become part of daily life there, with tens of thousands of unique songs played. House parties, beach festivals, weddings and car meets all sound better when nobody has to hold music up to a crackling microphone or juggle a third-party app.
The resource runs standalone or connects to any framework through the provided API. Configuration options are extensive, and if something can't be configured yet, we can include it in a future update.
Spatial audio
Sound behaves the way it does in the real world. Players hear the music differently depending on whether they stand close to the speakers, far away, or behind them, which gives events like house parties and car meets real depth.
Configurability
Add new speaker models through the config, each with its own max range, filters and volume settings. A basic boombox can cover a short radius while a large club speaker fills a much bigger area.
Music on the move
Speakers attach to your character so the music follows you around. Attach one to a vehicle instead, either hidden or visually displayed using the gizmo system, and the music follows the car.
Speaker groups
Connect and synchronize speakers with each other. At a concert or festival, place bass-heavy speakers near the stage and balanced speakers around the grounds for clarity. At a car meet, sync speakers across multiple vehicles so everyone hears the same track at the same moment, no matter how far apart the cars drift. Groups can be organized by location, type or preference.
Filters
Apply filters such as lowpass, highshelf and bandpass (and many more) to each speaker individually. Push deep bass for a concert or sharpen the treble for clear vocals, and shape the exact sound profile an event needs.
